Dear Sirs/Madams:
When logging in as users to the International Conference of Yi-Jing members’ website, (herein after referred to as “The Association”), personal information is collected. With strict compliance to the “Personal Data Protection Act of Taiwan, Republic of China”, the personal information, collected, is strictly confidential and managed for protection.
Please read and understand the followings with regards to the collection of personal information.
1. Personal Data Collection :
(1) Site information data entry:
Basic personal information needed is as follows:
• Photo Identification,
• Personal Resume / Curriculum Vitae
• Education level
• Research papers and other published articles
The data collected are for “The Association” use only.
(2) Private or Public data display :
Some portion of the input fields can be, independently, enabled or disabled to display on the website; the information can be set to private or public use by the members of “The Association”.
(3) Website has partial personal information on associate Lecturers and teachers for student to inquire.
2. Collection and use of Personal data:
(1) Personal data will not be collected from improper means.
(2) Purpose of collecting the data will be informed during the collection.
(3) Personal data will not be used unless prior approval is given unless under the following circumstances:
1) There is a merger, split or transfer of operations with the establishment of a new organization.
Personal data are used due to a newly formed organization inheriting data from the old organization. Data are used without prior consent.
2) During emergency or urgent circumstances when the data is needed.
3) Based on our or government agency order for investigation / illegal behavior.
4) Other exception conditions of the "Personal Data Protection Act".
3. Management of Personal data:
(1) Managed by “The Association “internal division setup for this purpose.
The internal process and procedures for managing the data are based on policies from the government national data protection agency.
(2) Personal data are managed to prevent data leakage and the loss and damage of information.
(3) Personnel authorized for access to the personal data are required to sign a confidential agreement that clarifies their responsibilities.
